The funds will be used to run targeted advertisements on social media platforms including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Facebook, as well as Google. Initially, we will distribute the budget across these platforms to assess their effectiveness, then shift allocation toward whichever channels perform best.

To ensure donations go as far as possible toward outreach, we handle our digital marketing internally rather than through an agency. We have team members with professional experience in digital marketing who lead this work.

If you have suggestions on where we should be placing ads, we welcome the input — please get in touch.

Digital marketing can be costly, but it can also be highly effective. It is estimated that there are hundreds of thousands of people living with PSSD without realizing it — many are experiencing the symptoms but have never heard the term.

No. Marketing and research funds are held in separate bank accounts and are never mixed. Donations made toward awareness go exclusively toward outreach and campaigns. We believe this separation is essential for accountability and donor trust.
